Susurros de Los Ángeles (Whispers of the Angels) ~poem

so for spanish class, our assignment was to write a poem about something in nature, and i chose the wind. below is the translation to english. :) dedicated to Rancho, and the exchange students from Juarez. <3 Estoy orando para uds. <3

Susurros de Los Ángeles

//Leyenda dice que ángeles caminan en la Tierra
Pero no pueden hablar con la gente.
Así que ellos susurran en la noche a las estrellas
Y las estrellas cantan su canción de cuna al viento.
 El viento es el mensajero de Dios.
Lleva los susurros de los ángeles y la canción de las estrellas.
A las almas de la gente cuando sueñan.
El viento se besa las caras de los descorazonados.
Y da paz a las mentes de los asustados.
En la noche, escuche al viento y sus palabras misteriosas.
Porque los ángeles tienen mucho que decir.//

Legend says that angels walk on Earth
But they cannot talk to the people.
So they whisper in the night to the stars
And the stars sing their lullaby to the wind.

The wind is the messenger of God.
It takes the whispers of the angels and the song of the stars
To the souls of the people while they dream.
The wind kisses the faces of the brokenhearted.
And gives peace to the minds of the frightened.

At night, listen to the wind and its mysterious words.
Because the angels have much to say.
